Georgea HALL
she/her

Is this thing on…HEY I'm Georgea! Pronounced like JOR-JUH, despite your inevitable urge to say JOR-JEE-UH. A lot of people compare me to Jessica Day from the forever iconic sitcom, New Girl, and honestly I’d say that’s a pretty good way of summing me up.
Growing up doing theater, I always loved to entertain and make people laugh. My mom always says I’m the funniest person she knows, and she holds that to a pretty high standard. Being the designated videographer of my friend groups has provided me with an outlet to explore my creative side. It wasn’t until High School that I realized that the stupid little videos I made with my friends for fun could actually lead into a career. Flash forward eight years and here I am graduated with a Media Arts Production degree and doing podcast work!! I cannot wait for you to follow along in seeing where we end up.

RUBY MUNDOK
she/her

Hi! I’m Ruby! If you looked up my name in the dictionary, you’d probably see “very loud, obsessed with her dog, and tends to break out in song and dance in awkward situations”. When I was 9, I recorded a “podcast” on my MP3 Player called The Loud Show - so talking too much isn’t really a new concept in my life.
I’ve been creating since a young age - starting with a YouTube channel at age 13, to now freelancing in social media marketing and video production while studying media arts production. As cheesy as it sounds, I love being able to capture life’s fun moments (even though my phone never has any storage because of that habit). While I usually prefer being in front of the camera, being behind the mic is a new adventure and I’m excited to have you all along for the ride.

Four score and seven years ago… jk. In August 2021 - fate decided to bring us together in the TV studio at Millersville University. For reasons we will never understand, the world somehow didn’t implode when we immediately would not shut up.
Flash forward to March 2022, and we were hosting a show together on our school’s news station. When we realized that we actually enjoy talking to each other, especially into a microphone, starting a podcast seemed like the ~only~ logical next step. Three days later, we were in Georgea’s dorm creating a logo and planning out the show - and thus Hyper Talkative Podcast was born.
We want this show to encompass all of the chaotic energy we keep balled up inside. We also just want an excuse to hear ourselves talk into a microphone. Just being honest. But alas, we hope that you enjoy hearing our pointless rambling & embarrassing stories (and that you embrace your inner hyper talkative-ness).
Xoxo, Georgea & Ruby.
